Counting Clicks instead of Votes

The vote table in the database is used to record clicks after this mod. Votes stop being recorded and it deletes the old votes.

If you chose to start recording clicks instead of votes they should migrate easily into any new database in a new version, but you would have to make the same changes to the software before going live with a new version.

This software change is not part of the Pligg system. kbeeveer46 sounded like they might consider adding it in a future release, but they might implement it differently.

Reinstalling

If you reinstall everything from scratch you are starting over anyway and you would have nothing in your database.

Someone should write this as a more general plugin, which one could turn on and of in the admin-area. I think alot of people would really liked it. I'm sorry I dont have enough programming-background to do the job, but would love to pay a few dollars through PayPal to anyone which did it clean and pretty.

Stupid question, but I want to display the field link_out in the link summary

I tried {$link_out} but no go, I can all it with a if statement like

{if $link_out neq "0"} People that Bought:{$link_out}{/if} now the if statement functions if the link out is greater than 0 it displays the text "People that Bought" but it does not display th value from the link out field

Help is appreciated
