Hello, I've installed my first Pligg site in the www.site.com/Pligg folder (actual name of site omitted as it is a design mess currently, I will announce it here when it's usable) for testing purposes.

Now, what would be the best way to move it to the root folder? Is there some way of simple redirect which wouldn't slow things down, like you can do with, for example, Wordpress? Or must I reinstall Pligg in the new folder?

Thanks in advance.

Move all the files into the root folder and delete the contents of templates_c. Then go into your database and in the config table for the my_pligg_base value (var_id #8) remove the previous entry of /Pligg so it is blank.

This was the fastest response I've ever got on any support forums. That's bad for you, now I'm gonna pester you with questions and my poor knowledge of php (;

Anyway, thanks a lot.
