voting on comments= voting news?

Hi ,
i was on my sneak today when i decided to vote for a comment by clicking on the + in the comment,

when i did that i noticed that when clicking the + i had 2 votes, one in the comment and other one in a new that does not have anything in common with the comment, is like it was voting the new with th id_new= id comment

any1 know anything about this?

It looks like comment votes show up in sneak the same way voting for a story would look like, BUT the vote number for the story stays the same so I don't see what the problem is?

You are right about the number of votes, but the problem is that i'm not voting the comment of the news displayed,
the correct thing shoul be to show the new of the comment you are voting.

nop,
what im saying is that the story should show in th esneak should be the one where the comment is,
I mean if I vote a comment which is in a new story title "Mario is back"
the story that should appear on the sneak is "Mario is back" ,
and now what appears is another title which is not "Mario is back"

Oh, I knew what you meant the entire time but I didn't pay attention enough when I tested it to notice that there is a bug. The wrong story shows when you vote for a comment. That's odd. We'll have to look into this.

is easy to check,

when pointing the mouse over the + in the comment take a look in the javascript function cvote(), there you will see the id of the comment,
then take that id and go to

http://www.vidaup.com/story.php?id=222
where 222 is the id shown in the comment

then click on the plus and you will check that the new which appears is the same of the id.

it does not have any comment, so if you voted a comment, the correct story wasnt shown
