    translating strategy?

well, maybe i miss something, but the current use of the lang.conf is not very comfortable for non english use of pligg.

at the moment i think you have to compare a backup of the lang.conf with the latest build lang.conf and merge the phrases that were added into the backup file (using e.g. winmerge).

    or are there other ways?

There is a different way that might be even easier. What you can do is go to the lang.conf file on the sourceforge account and track its progress http://pligg.svn.sourceforge.net/vie....conf?view=log

For example, the "HEAD" version is the latest version. By clicking on "Previous XXX" where XXX is a build number like 677 you can see what was changed since build 677. If you go further down the page you can keep clicking on the "Previous XXX" to see what changes have been made since the build before it. This way you can track in real-time what material the devs are adding to the lang file as they develop.
