Hi folks It's my first post, so I'll try to be nice.

I have just upgraded from beta 8.2 to 9.0, and also changed to the new digitalnature template. It looks fine, except that the entire menu is gone. Also, it looks like me that everything is much slower now (navigating from page to page).

Have a look at Digge.no, and you will see the lack of menu on the left side. I have also tried to find a similar problem here at the forum, but can't seem to find any posts regarding it.

Suggestions?

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the JS. The HTML is loaded fine, you can see the menu if you do a view source. There were no relevant errors in the JS console though. I had the same missing menu problem when I was playing with JS compression, though mine turned out to be an error in the loading order that showed up in the console. Are you perhaps missing a call to initialize a library or something?

I see..

I checked the source as well.

What I can't figure out is if it was the upgrade that did not go well, or if there is some other problem. Should I try to overwrite the files again maybe?

Edit: I have now tried reuploading all the files, and the menu is still gone.

By the way: The menu was there for a little while when I clicked on the configure menu-link in admin. On the main admin page it said that settings.php was not writable. When I made it writable, the menu was gone again.

Any suggestions?

Edit 2:
I fount the problem!

I had to download a new version of script.aculo.us (1.6.5), and it started working properly
