Pligg 9.1 can't set up the default template (and god knows i've tried)

Hi,
i've read the forum but i can't fix it, i just want to set Paul01 as the default template.
I've tried with settemplate.php but it's for users to change
I've tryed to modified the config.php but putting Paul01 instead of digital nature in the file but it doesn't change anything. If someone could help me please
I use the last version of pligg, 9.1, my site is lonelynite(dot)(com) is this could help you, there's nothing in it i'm just setting it up for the moment and i 'd like my user just to be on Paul01 template and not another

You need to enable the appropriate js under admin > modules > javascript effects pack.
