Not sure if this belongs here or in another section, but I've just posted a quick tutorial on Understanding Pligg Template Files. If you've peeked into the .tpl files and had a hard time deciphering what you were looking at, this short tutorial might be helpful.

I would appreciate any feedback on whether or not things are clear. If there's interest, I might do another tutorial on how to hack the .tpl files to customize an existing template.

thanks for this. I'm just learning all this. never had a web page before now. maybe you can have a look at me site sometime and give me some pointers or info. I'm trying to make a template, themes, skins web community site. were people can post there stuff and have people vote on it. give them comments on it. I'm hoping to create a big web community for this so any help would be appreciated. remember im a begginer so i dont know much about coding other then what i have googled or seen posted here.
