Friendly URL's for stories bug

Hi,
i installed the lastest version with tortoise today.
With friendly url's story enabled, if i submit i title's story with ">>", then the link on the story doesn't work.
For example if i submit a story from my site:
http://www.4mj.it/yahoo-e-la-sua-evoluzione/
then the title is
Yahoo! e la sua Evoluzione » 4MJ

and the url story doesn't work.

i added this lines:

$output = str_replace(">>", "-", $output);
$output = str_replace(">", "-", $output);
$output = str_replace("%C2%BB", "-", $output);

but no fix
