first one: suppose you're registering and somehow made an error. when you hit back button on the error screen, you go back to register screen. but whatever you do submit button is not active unless you add or substract a character from the username.
second one: error screen displays back button for every error not only one. it's confusing.
btw, browser is ie6 sp1.
