My site is new and doesn't get many votes. However, I get quite a few visits and clicks on links. I am thinking of changing my site to register clicks on a link instead of "votes".

Has anyone done this?

If so, what needs to be modified?

There's actually a table in the database called pageviews. This logs when people view a story on your site and it also logs if they click on the external link of the story. You could probably use this to change from voting to clicks.

Thanks, I will look at it.

I was thinking of having the logic that executes when you click the vote box also execute when you click the link. Then changing the label to "clicks"
