Branding my site.

I have a blogger that wants to redirect some traffic to my site but what we'd like to do it make the site he redirects to look like his site's template. I know Pligg has templates and I'd really like to have a totally different page look without a lot of the sidebar stuff from my main site.

Can I force all the users redirected from some domain to use a certain template? I'd like to do this without allowing people to choose templates. If they enter the main site it'll use my default but if they come from this other domain they'd use a different template. Can someone figure out the code to do that?

If it's not possible, can I run two instances of Pligg using the same database for users and stories? Would they have to be the same version? I use 8.2 now.

You could install pligg in 2 different directories and point them to the same database.

Have 1 directory serve the blog related traffic, the other serve your own traffic.

I don't know how to redirect traffic from a certain URL, but I do know that you can have 2 instances of pligg running off of the same database.

You can have

domain.com/pligg1/
and
domain.com/pligg2/

or
domain.com
and
domain.com/pligg2/

and simply have him link to the one unique URL that has the modified template.
