Here is something I just recently noticed. When I am logged out and view any story there is a large white space between the last comment and the "log in to comment" link, but when logged in the white space is filled by the comment submission box. See screenshots below, is there any way to remove this?

Try to look in comment_show.tpl and see if there is something causing the whitespace.
