Hi.

Trying to install 'Pligg Beta 9.0' on Linux, I followed 'README.txt' steps (I created the DB, executed 'install') and got this message:
Code:
Creating database tables...
Creating table: 'blogs'...
Creating table: 'categories'...
Creating table: 'comments'...
Creating table: 'friends'...
Creating table: 'languages'...
Creating table: 'links'...
Creating table: 'trackbacks'...
Creating table: 'users'...
Creating table: 'tags'...
Creating table: 'votes'...
Creating table: 'pageviews'....
Creating table: 'config'
Creating table: 'messages'
Creating table: 'modules'
Creating 'god' user...
Inserting default categories...
Inserting default modules...
Inserting default 'config' data...
But when trying to access 'http://myserver', I get these both error messages
Code:
SQL/DB Error -- [Table 'pligg.table_prefixconfig' doesn't exist]
SQL/DB Error -- [Table 'pligg.modules' doesn't exist]
What am I doing wrong? Thank you very much.

Also you may need to change the install/installtables.php (line 318) where the modules table gets created it has ENGINE= I changed that to TYPE= like the rest of them.

it may be an issue with the mysql version, I have 3.xx

Went into installtables.php with a text editor

Wherever I had the php code.................... ) TYPE = MyISAM; "; ...............

I replaced with .....................) ENGINE = MyISAM; "; ................

I didn't change this line........) TYPE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_unicode_ci";......

That seemed to work.

Yeah, we made this change to the latest SVN build of Pligg. Another member suggested that fix to support older MySQL versions. 1.1.4 will include this change.
