I tried to backup all the files and database from Admin.

Database and avatar backup are working fine.

File backup also gave me a zip file called FileBackup-Time.zip, but when I clicked to open this file, I received the following error message: The Compressed(zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted.

I have checked the backup permission and it is 777.

Any clue what is causing this and how to fix it? Anyone experienced this before?

Thanks.

you could just download all the files in a seperate directory and compress it as zip.

saves the webserver from having to handle it.

Yes, I had the same problem -- actually, the backup worked for me for a while, but now has stopped working. The backup directory has 777 permissions.

I am using FTP for backup but it would be great if we could figure out the problem here.

Maybe it is because of the file size limitation set by the hosting company for a hosting account.
