I just installed 9.9 and I don't see this as a module or as part of the standard install.

Does anybody have instructions to get this to work on pligg 9.9?

sk-rt.com was getting HAMMERED by .cn registrations (over 20,000 since december 10). today we switched over to single-step registration and it seems to have worked great. thanks for such an easy fix.

we added one feature to our confirmation "thank you" page: a link to the login page.

will be checking here regularly to try to stay a step ahead of these bots. thanks to all of you for all your great coding.

Sk*rt, I just tried signing up for your site. I purposely didn't confirm my email address and then tried to log in. All it says is that I have the wrong username or password. I haven't tried installing this mod yet, so I don't know if this is normal. If so, this mod needs a way to tell if someone hasn't confirmed their email address and...

1. Remind them to check again.

2. Offers them a chance to have the confirmation message sent again.

I run another social networking site and I know that either putting in the wrong email address or not noticing the confirmation message is very common. Most of the time, the user just gets frustrated and leaves.

Good point. Also add a welcome page when confirming. I added a thank you login link manually but it would be nice to see something here that looks pligg professional!

If you are running 9.8.2 there is NOTHING you need to do in this file. I think that was for an older version!

The only thing I added was this,

Code:
<a href="http://www.blogengage.com/login.php">Login</a>
Hope this helps!
