You may find the following useful:

Disclaimer: I've just hacked this together and only tested it in Firefox and Pligg Beta 7

Firefox instructions
  1. Go to the 'View'->'Toolbars' menu and make sure the 'Bookmarks Toolbar' is ticked
  2. Right click the link below, and choose 'Bookmark this link'.
  3. Click the down arrow to see a complete list of folders, choose the 'Bookmarks Toolbar Folder' and click 'OK'
  4. Right Click on Your newly created Bookmark and select the Properties
  5. In the Location Box change example.com to whatever your site's name is

javascriptfunction(){ function attrQuoteEscape(s){ s=s.replace(/&/g,'&');s=s.replace(/"/g, '"');return s;} window.open('http://www.example.com/submit.php?url='+attrQuoteEscape(location.href)+'& phase=1&id=c_1'); } )();

Now visit any of your favorite web sites, and use your new 'Pligg It!' button to quickly and easily submit the page to your Pligg site.

Cheers

Hi

Sorry, doesn't work.

The link sends me to the same page you find when you click the link in your post. It seems that there are a load of spurious figures placed in the link code.

Ditto, doesn't work for me either. That being said I am very interested in adding this feature to Pligg, as long as it works just like newsvine's "seed newsvine" button.

Hope you can get it to work and thanks for trying!

It appears that vBulletin messed up the JavaScript for security purposes.
Attached youŽll find the script. Just replace example.com with your site.

Sorry for the extremely late reply ....

edit the javascript to suit your needs, then put it into an html page i believe, and get people to right click, and add that page to their favourites

im still messing around with it, but this is how mine is:

I'm using Firefox (1.5 for Mac) and all I see is a blank page when I click on Orochi's link. Is anyone else having trouble, or is it just me? I'm also not quite sure how to stick the javascript into an HTML file for use on my own pligg site. Can someone help please?

All you need to do is post it as a link somewhere. Orochi's didn't work well for me so I used another one. You can see it in action on my blog: Dad Daily Bookmarklet.

Orochi,

Yours didn't work for me, also your captcha isn't visible so it's impossible to register.

I tried in FF.
