I would like to continue the development of this plug in (integration module), however, SMF is too under a proprietary license (not GPL) so I don't know if Pligg is actually compatible with it.

SMF license does not interdict integration with another software, but I don't know much about Pligg integration, so I would have to contact Pligg's owner and get his permission about this integration.

It may be wiser to think of a bbPress integration, that way Wordpress could be integrated as well.

Why do people ask on this thread to integrate Pligg with another forum CMS other than SMF? I like SMF's templates and mods available, some nice work over there. No offense but you would get further starting a new thread requesting to integrate Pligg with the forum CMS of your choice.
