I think that is what is already in place. During submission you can add your description to a submission url or create your own editorial without an url. The abstract is prepared based on the description and can also be edited to display different. And it is Pligg_links table that has the extra fields so you can edit it to your needs. vide link_field1, link_field2, ... link_field15. |

There are 15 extra fields you can enable for the submit process. But from what it sounds like, Pligg has all the functionality you're looking for already built in.

abcdefgary: I really do not see any real necessity for the extra fields for your situation unless you want to do something special like adding images to the post etc. Else the current setup will be a ready to use solution for you - only you need to provide users more space in the UI such that they can add more content in article format.

sorry to bring up an old topic but HOW do you use the extra fields? I see where you turn them on but where do you set them? john |

When I click on the link provided above - http://www.pligg.com/wiki/index.php?title=Extra_Fields - I get an "Oops, the material you are looking for is not here." |

I'd like to know how to use the extra-fields feature too. |
