I'm not able to submit new items to my pligg site. I'm using pligg as a content management system for a site that deals with links in categories and not news stories or articles. The majority of my links are to the main links to sites.

When I try to add a new item, no matter what URL I enter - pligg gives an "Invalid URL" error.

I am assuming that this is an automatic link check that pligg is doing. Is there some way to change this or turn it off? This is a great application and if I can get this part to work, pligg will have solved all my problems !!!
