Sorry, but I am having another problem. When I put the code on other sites I use the simple javascript code method so that it will get the url of the page that it is on, however when it does this it adds at / to the end of the url, however the / isnt there in my website so it doesnt acknoledge that its already in the site.

designscheap.com

so it does

designscheap.com/

(cant do full url or the forum will automatically make it a link)

I fixed this originally by using the 2 line method and puting document.URL in the spot for the URL and that worked for like 5 minutes then it just stopped working and started just doing the literal text string "document.URL" rather than the actual URL all the sudden. I am really stumped here.

EDIT: I changed designscheap to have the / in the database so it works now, but is there a way around this other than adding in a / to all the urls that dont have one?

I'll add in a check to see whether a url ends in a trailing slash, and if it does, I'll get the query to check for matches on urls with and without the trailing slash.

EDIT: changes made, re-download the files from the 1st post and see how that works for you. It should check a url both with and without a trailing slash in pliggit.php and url.php now.

Thanks so much, and sorry, I know I am a pain but do you think you could do the same thing for with and without www.? I would be happy to give you $5 via paypal for puting up with my problems.

By the way I joined your beta testing site, and started posting what I found in a thread in the user feedback area. I will update it as I find more errors.

Ok, I'll try and add that in later on today.

Btw, just on the beta testing for a moment, would you be able to re-try the publishing test once more? I cleaned up the file so that it no longer displays all that garbage, just a bried notification of any errors, and what they are caused by.

Thanks, I can't wait for the version supporting www. and no www. I really appreciate this. Like I said on your website's forum, I will get back on with the beta test as soon as I replace my elecrically-fried computer.

I'm not totally confident on this version yet, so I'll leave it here for testing, rather than putting it on the front page. It should now match all www, non-www, slash, and no slash combinations where applicable.

Hi

I've modified EVB to wordpress plugin. You can download "Pligg Vote Button" plugin here.

Open file and edit url to your Pligg site. Install like others wordpress plugins and activate it. Then insert this code
Code:
<!--pligg-->
into your post. That's it.

I hope you enjoy this plugin .

If someone wants to provide a few extra image types, I'm sure I can slot in an option to choose between them.

Or you can create the code using 3 or 4 of the same images (but called diff names ie im1, im2, im3, im4) and that will allow us mere mortals to replace the images with our own...

Hope that makes sense
