Is that the actual name of your pligg links table, as opposed to something like pligg_links?

Also, remove the slash at the end of the $server variable in button.php - it will cause // to appear in the paths, which will produce an error.

I've finally got this up and running but the variable $user is always blank so I hard coded the user id and attempted to vote but it refreshes the page and nothing else happens. The vote number stays the same.

In my side i can get the $user, but the vote number stays the same.

My version of pligg is 9.1 it used the vote.php file, but this EVB used the menealo.php file. Maybe the problem is that. i have readed the code i cann't found any error!

No I did not come to a solution .. I tried both vote.php and menealo.php ..

I revised both .. they look similar and with no errors ..
I remember - about month ago- that I found a working demo posted in this thread .. I think Simon made an update with some error ..

I am waiting for his reply ..

I found that the demo url of Simon posted don't work fine too.

I have tried two packages Simon attached it here, they look similar problem.

Ok, there were actually 2 errors - 1st was $user not being hardcoded, the other was another variable not existing due to config.php being removed. I've fixed both of them, and re-uploaded the files in the first post with the fixes.

Sorry, I haven't been much on the ball lately...

I did, download the updated files in the 1st post and re-install. That should fix the problems. The demo should also work now.

So i alway got userid = 0
