Image Upload Module: After admin edit
I am having problems with losing the image associated with a story after I use the admin account to edit the story. Every time I edit, the image is removed from the story. I have tried to upload the image a second time from the same source (in the admin and user edit modes), but it will not post. I assume that the image is still in the database but no longer linked to the story.
Version is 9.5 installed a few weeks ago.

Hi,
Yeah, its a known issue. I hate to give release info as I've already fallen behind schedule but it should be shortly.
Best,
Cent

I can't seem to even get the image upload option on my submit page. I went meticulously through the Image Upload instructions, or so I thought. What am I missing? Is there somewhere to turn it on/off?
Edit: I figured it out... had to turn on the "extra fields" thing in the admin.

I still have no solution for this problem. My site is dependent on this being operational.
Is there any update on the fix for this problem?

Unfortunately, I can only work on it during my down time which has been a little hard to come by lately. But luckily, I have a version that I'm finishing up... actually its done, just beta testing it myself. Once I'm pretty satisified that its working well, I'll send a copy of it to anyone will to beta it on their sites... keeping in mind, there may still be issues with it. Please PM me if you're interested in trying it. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.
The debug mode is a lot more informative. And you when you edit the story, you can delete the current image, upload a new one or maintain the original image if you like. I know that's been a major issue with the module so it was the first thing I reworked. Also removed a lot of code that wasn't being used, and commented it more completely for those who are interested in dissecting it for a different mod.
It would be great if someone wrote a module settings editor (similar to the modify language module). This would make change settings for people a whole lot easier and straight-forward.
In fact, if there's a need for it... I may attempt to write one so admin's can change settings for any module without having to touch the actual files.
Best,
Cent

I have the following problem: when i upload picture with dimensions more than module_imageupload_fullsize_width / height allowed, image upload fails instead of resizing image. Thus i get article without picture. I use GD2 library.
ps
lease send me updated beta version of the script. Thank you!

eboblin... pm'd u. the module is ready, however, i'm doing tests on my dev install now... after its been tested as best as possible, i'll send everyone who's tested it a copy to try on their own server... once the kinks are worked out (not every server is the same)... i'll be releasing it to the pligg community early next week.
