story not showing up?

Hi i just installed this cms and was tryin it but when i submitted the story it is showing up in the upcomming news section but now under the published news section do you know what i am doing wrong or did i missed a step

please let me know

This may be related, I don't know.

I had someone test my site. They registered and submitted a story. However, it is not showing up in the upcoming nor anywhere else. The only thing I can figure is they didn't do something they needed to do. Another tester submitted fine. I've submitted fine. All they told me is they submitted it and it never showed up.

see the problem is that story is showing up in the upcomming news but not in the published news i can make is show it in the pulblished news as a admin but i want this to be by default

I gotcha. Try this, as I had a similar problem early on... they showed up as "Upcoming" but not published.

Logon as admin and go to:
Admin > Configure your sitename

Under the "Votes to publish" section, make sure it's set to 1.
