[SOLVED] Version number doesn't update after upgrade

I upgraded pligg from Beta 9.5 to 9.6 and I noticed in the admin' panel it still thinks it's using 9.5. Why is that? I followed the upgrade instructions to the letter. Anyway to get pligg to report the actual version number?

I'm assuming the lang.conf was replaced as I have to go back to change a few settings in the Modify Language portion of the site. I did a quick search under Modify Language too for a version number and I don't see one.

Mine says 0.9.1.SVN, but in my lang.conf it says 9.6

I opened the lang.conf and yes, it says 9.6. The Admin panel shows the version number as 0.9.5.SVN

my bad, pligg stores the version in the database in a misc_data table.

    Look for pligg_version

ash has made http://pligg.svn.sourceforge.net/vie...&revision=1151 the changes, just needs to be merged to the trunk.

    Version
    1.2.0
I recently upgrade from 9.6 to 9.8.2 but in admin panel it still shows version 9.6

I found this post for an older version and checked all the files and 9.8.2 does contain these changes.

How can I get the correct version number to show up?

    Did you run /install/upgrade.php?

Yes, I changed the chmod on lib/dbconnect.php, ran install/upgrade, then changed chmod back to 644

I did see the new version number at first login after upgrade, but then reverted back to old version number. Can I run upgrade again, without re-uploading the core files?
