To sum things up, does this mod break scriptaculous/lightbox? That js Geoserv said he moved is js that only digital nature uses and is not related to script/lightbox.

Oh, well I would say it does break it in its current form. Thickbox.js code needs to be wrapped in: Code: jQuery(function($) { //thickbox code here }); Last edited by Simon; 04-13-2007 at 02:14 PM. |

Thanks, I forgot about that little code change. I'll have to look into the order in which the js files are loaded.

I did notice, for those who cannot get the 2 javascript libraries working together at all, that there is a version of thickbox that uses scriptaculous. I haven't tried it, but it is an alternative: http://codylindley.com/thickboxforum...nID=354&page=1 |

Hi guys, I have read through the thread and am having problem following it with all the numerous problems and changes mentioned. My problem is in using digitalnature template with imageupload and thickbox loaded I am experiencing three problems (other I believe are having the same) 1) Private messaging does not work 2) Thumbnails do not show up on hover link 3) can not configure language files. I have tried to look at the revised pligg.tpl that Geosv mentioned but my file looks totally different and tried moving the code. But still does not work. Which template are you using. But I am still not sure is the change only good for resolving one of the problems stated above or all. If only one, which one and is there a work around for all three problems. I wish we can find a problem to this as I love the imageupload mod and would hate to unenable thickbox to resolve the above issues. Thanks guys for all your hard work, |

Since no one replied to my previous question, let me ask the question in another way, maybe someone has a solution. If i turn on thickbox due to imageupload mod, the PM does not work. Is there a way I can turn off the thickbox in the function when I click on the submitter profile, so that his profile will show up and send him a PM. Again, I think the calls are calling up thickbox instead of lightbox used for profile/PM. So is there a way to code it so that these do not crash clicking on the username javascript?

Hi flyfisher, Unfortunately, there isn't a way to deactivate thickbox once it has already been run by the browser. The calls aren't calling thickbox, but they do conflict with each other. I haven't tested to see if running one script before the other will make a difference or not. While I do not have the PM module installed on my test server, the site thumbnails do show up correctly. Thickbox, once included in a web page, only runs when the link has the class of "thickbox". However, I do know there are some known issues. I read on a previous thread that there is a version of thickbox that uses scriptalicious but I haven't tried it yet. best, Cent Quote:
