Are the thumbnails generated on the fly every time? If so, could this be a significant performance issue?

I've got a problem having installed this. All the sidebars are gone when I enable the mod.

@Cent: I will e-mail you of some code that does image_upload and uses the extra field to store the file location - can you gimme your e-mail ID via PM? This code can be seen live at the site http://memeorlame.com Write section.

A couple more suggestions for multiple image uploads:

When a user uploads more than one photo for a story it would good if only one of the photos (the first?) was seen on the aggregate pages (popular, upcoming etc.) and the rest were seen after the jump (on the story page). This way multiple images for a single story wouldn't push other content down, and bandwidth would be reduced.

Also - and this is a much bigger request - could the Image Upload Mod create smarty variables for the path to the images folder, the name of each image, and the total number of images for a given story? That way if different sites had different ways they wanted to display the photos they could still use this mod to handle uploading, modifications and file organization. And other people could build additional mods or code that add various display functionality.

This is a fantastic module for me as my whole site is about voting on images of t-shirts. The only big pain in my ass is that I lose the images if i need to edit a post, is there a work around?

All, please help!

I've installed the thickbox mod and this one.

I've followed the directions but it won't work.
I get the extra field and the browse button, but when I select an image and upload it nothing happends. It continues without an error, but no image.

I got it to upload the images but when I get to step 3 I get nothing. The page and even the Story Details box but nothing inside.

Hi all, This sounds like a great module, but have spent the last couple hours trying to get this to work. Everything seems to be fine. I have extrafield, tightbox and confirmed that I have GD2 working but when I upload the photos it does not seem to upload any images, I check in the images folder nothing is there on the host. this is the messages that I get when I turn on dedug
