Sorry, I didn't mean to whine. I was just updating anyone that could help on my progress.

I'm blown away by this mod and really just want to get it working on my site.

Anyone getting this error (step 3 of submit story)?

Warning: move_uploaded_file(/.../public_html/pligg/images/img_5.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /.../public_html/pligg/modules/image_upload/image_upload_main.php on line 95

Actual error appears twice then the story (without pic)

I thought I followed the instructions :-) Any advice on how to fix this?

you need to create an images directory in your root directory.

cspenser, I had the same problem. The problem was that my images folder was not writable. Make it writable and it should work. Delete the old folder if you have one, create new, make it writable.

This has to be one of the best mods out there... really like it :-)

I have one question... instead of the photo being linked to the larger version, I am trying to make it link to the actual story, like the title link.

I found the area to edit to change the link:

PHP Code:
define('module_imageupload_directlink_pre1''<a href="'.module_imageupload_imagedir);
I just don't know what to replace .module_imageupload_imagedir with. Or if this needs to be done on a different page. Thanks.

(I am only doing 1 image per story)

Lots of scenarios are going to pop up where people want to display the images in a unique way on their site ... which is why i was suggesting earlier that the upload functionality and the display functionality should be seperated a bit.

If you have enabled this mod and can't see anything at step 3 of a story submission, then you might need to set GD version to 1 instead of the default version 2. Worked for me.

Thats true. What I've done, and I suspect people are expected to do, is if they don't like the way it displays the images they can easily write their own img tag. This is pretty basic, all you need to know is that the image path is stored in link_field1 or whatever you're using.

Hi Karl,

Currently working on version .5 of the image_upload. The main item to fix is editing stories to maintain the image. Things have been a little delayed as I'm wrapped up in relaunching my movie's web site. However, it should be available in the next few days.

Best,
Cent
