I just installed pligg on my windows server.

All database tables were built,
The installation

But I got the following error messages after the installation:

Notice: Undefined variable: errors in D:\thomas\htdocs\ve_cms\ting\install\install3.php on line 13

Notice: Undefined variable: errors in D:\thomas\htdocs\ve_cms\ting\install\install3.php on line 51

The system told me:
Pligg appears to have installed successfully!

Ok I thought and clicked on "admin area":

Bt whe I open the admin area there were plenty of error messages like:

Notice: Undefined index: link3 in D:\thomas\htdocs\ve_cms\ting\templates_c\c_630bba0 e7a33cb7172d3f046a8196ad5.php on line 129

Notice: Undefined index: text3 in D:\thomas\htdocs\ve_cms\ting\templates_c\c_630bba0 e7a33cb7172d3f046a8196ad5.php on line 131

Notice: Undefined index: link4 in D:\thomas\htdocs\ve_cms\ting\templates_c\c_630bba0 e7a33cb7172d3f046a8196ad5.php on line 132

Notice: Undefined index: text4 in D:\thomas\htdocs\ve_cms\ting\templates_c\c_630bba0 e7a33cb7172d3f046a8196ad5.php on line 134

At the beginning of the page there was

Undefined index: body_args in D:\thomas\htdocs\ve_cms\ting\templates_c\c_367ca16 afe9353a4378d42ef827135ad.php on line 115

The application seems to work but dos anybody knows why I get these error messages or how I can stop them getting displayed...

Tom

If you lower the level of your php error reporting you won't see those notices anymore.

Add this line to settings.php:

error_reporting(2);

Adding that doesn't work... at least adding at the end or before the if statement.

It does remove the errors, but it breaks the CSS and/or site appearance.

Where does that code go?

Ok, it does work... so does adding "error_reporting(2);" to the config.php file.

Now the whole site is missing it's CSS, images, etc...

What gives?
