Incorrect Key while submit

I see this problem in other posts in the forum, but none of the solutions that were offered is working in my case:

Running Pligg Beta 9 on Windows XP and Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.2.3 MySQL 5.0

Installation went smoothly (really simple and easy!)

While trying to submit the first story I get the message "Incorrect key" in "Confirm details, step 3 of 3" page and the only option is to go back.

I tried to add:

 $linkres->randkey = $_POST['randkey']; 
  

in the "submit_step_3.tpl" of yget template file
But when I did that I got an empty "Story details" section and the code shows that it crashed right before the line that I added above.

I tried to use the revised "submit.php" from Revision 1070 but this didn't help as well.

I checked that my PHP includes the MHash extension.

The log of the Apache is full with errors in each stage.

After going through all the threads again, I found this one:
Problem with sneak.php

with the solution to change the setting of MySQL not to be STRICT.

# Set the SQL mode to strict
#sql-mode="STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"
# Set the SQL mode to NON strict for Pligg
sql-mode="NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"
