Private Messaging Still Not Working in 9.6 Even After Thickbox Fix

Hi.

I upgraded to Pligg 9.6.
I have Lightbox v0.1 enabled
Thickbox v0.3 is enabled
and Private Messaging v0.1 enabled.

I made the line change at Cent's forum thread
Hiring: "family tree" pligg site

Yet still, when I try and send a message, I still get the red cross at the bottom of the screen.

Iceburg had the same problem as I did and AshDigg indicated it was due to a template issue.

I also am using a custom template; however, the only files I have changed are the template files. I have not altered any core Pligg files. Is there some way this is affecting the Private Messaging module?

Any help would be appreciated.

Here's something you might try if you still can't get it to initialize - try adding the thickbox .js and css files to pligg.tpl, in the <head> section. This will hardcode them and might do the trick.

It's important to note that messaging does NOT use thickbox, just lightbox.

I already disable thickbox at the module .. I dont know why that red cross keeps on showing
and still private msging is not working ..

How do i completely remove thickbox? so that it wont conflict with lightbox ...

Make the same changes that you made to the thickbox module to lightbox module and everything should work fine.

Here is the line of code you need:

module_add_action_tpl('tpl_pligg_pre_title_lightbo x', lightbox_tpl_path . 'pligg_pre_title.tpl');

Tried the latest suggestion. Private messaging still does not work for me in 9.6... still getting that #%@! red x.

Wait... It works now! I copied the text from that line above, and there was space in it... took the space out, bingo (the space between the bo and x in box).
