    Hi argh2xxx

Can you detail the steps you took?
It may help us figure out whats going on there..
I can honestly say I've never experienced someone upgrading their php version and having a problem.. What ever the cause, I'd like to see us use this thread to figure this out.

I just go to whm, upgrade to 2.3 apache, 5.3.2 php, and boom ajax stop working.

Now I downgrade to php 4 something, and apache 1.3, and ajax still not function. It was before the upgrade to newer apache and php.

All using WHM and cpanel. I didn't even touch anything else.

The funny thing is that ajax on my other script is working, but on Pligg is not.

probably not the upgrade then. when you 'view source' of your page, do you see the proper .js and .css files in the head?

I don't know, I think it looks ok to me, I never touch the source of Pligg really, just after the upgrade that problems come out of no where in Pligg.

Check the source at http://www.blogmyway.org/pdc and see if it's okie. To me it looks fine.

you are using the gzipped javascript files and your apache server is not rendering them properly at the moment. So that causing some javascript errors. But voting seems to work.

maybe you could turn off the ads during testing as it's adding 18 different javascript files according to firebug and these don't include any pligg js files.

I reinstall the pligg... now it seems to work... just wondering how to transfer the old users to newer pligg database.

Any excellent way to do this?

if it's the same version of pligg, then just export your users table and import it into the new database.

You could just move the whole database.

Just be careful with the table prefixes and backup everything
