can I import 1 rss feed into multple categories based on each article category?

Hi -

We'd like to be able to import articles from our news blog, into our Pligg site. However, each article belongs in a different category, and to the best of my knowledge. Pligg can only take a single feed and import the articles into a single category - correct?

Has anyone tried or found a workaround? A way of reading the category tags in the RSS file and getting Pligg to parse it so the articles go into the appropriate/matching categories? (I realize this assumes a 1:1 match for the category names)

I don't think there's a way to do this, although it would be cool.
