It's on the bug todo list, but our main developer is on vacation for another 11 days so it won't be addressed until he gets back.

If the problem is with the RSS Importer, we are no longer supporting that module because it's become too much of a hassle. Are there any problems with other German characters in Pligg? It seems to work fine for me: Nobelpreis für Obama | My Site

Yes, it s problem with all RSS-s (not with RSS Importer) by default, if they contain special characters (ä,ü,ö,ß).
