I've tried in several files (footer.tpl, pligg.tpl, sidebar, etc) and it does not work, generating error in page. Does somebody know where to put Xiti or Google Analytics code in a Pligg site ? (version 9.1, Paul01 template)

Best place to insert for Google Analytics would be the footer.

Google Analytics gives you the code to insert into your footer. It is a script so it should run in any file.....
