[SOLVED] News (or items posted) are ever deleted automatically?
Hi.
I have a question. I'm thinking about creating a PLIGG website for people to post and vote on items, not news. Like Someone here did one where you can post and vote on webhosts. (I'm not doing the same, don;t worry)
Even though I want people to be able to vote on the items posted and push them up to the "top10" (or whatever list), I don;t want the ones that get less votes to disappear (be automatically deleted by the PLIGG engine on my server).
Does that happen? Or are the ones with less votes just not displayed on the main page? Are they archived under the category the user posted them under for people to "search" and view tehm anytime?
Thanks...

A simple solution to this problem is as follows:
1] Since stories are not news - you can make editorials - from Admin panel -> configure -> Submit -> "Require a URL when submitting" to false
2] To make posts stay in upcoming section forever - what I would simply suggest is to set the following: from Admin panel -> configure -> Voting -> "Days to publish" to a very large number - like 10000 etc.
Before that duration expires (I guess would take 27+ years) Pligg would be far from the current state and a solid solution would be available for your need

so the only solution would be to keep them in the "UPCOMING" session?
there's no way of keeping them in a category, archived?
I want my users to be able to go to the website and, let's say, click on "Blue Cars" category and see even 2, 3, 4 year-old items posted there... same with category "Yellow Cars" or "Old Cars", etc... just go to the category menu and be able to find items...
