Can Pligg be modified to post user-written articles, not links to articles?

I'm new here, just discovered Pligg and hoping it might be the answer for a project.

I'd like to have a very much Pligg like site, with the following difference: instead of users posting links to outside articles, I'd like to instead like to have users write and post their own articles. After that, it's all pretty much the same. There are some other things that would likely have to be changed some to make it all work right, but not much.

How difficult would this be for a Pligg developer to do? (I'm not a developer).

Use TinyMCE. dollars5 has integrated the TinyMCE editor for Story Submission at Step 2. I use this on my site, maybe this could help. You can check out this Pligg mod here.

I use Pligg in that way! Try the demo (Pligg Beta 9 / Published News). You just have to go over submit_step1 were the URL is questioned.
