I have read other posts related to changing the homepage meta title, but have had little luck.

I would like to change the title from: “Pligg / Published News” to “Pligg. My Slogan Here.”

Can anyone help, what would be the best way to make this change for just the homepage? Thanks!

Hi,

I don't want to alter the Pligg Visual Name or the language, i want to make changes to just the index.php page like removing the "/" and change "Published News" to a custom slogan.

Take a look at the bottom of this thread. The part that says 'story' change to 'index'.

thanks chuckroast ... even though you didn't answer the OP's question, you answered mine!! LOL

i was confused because i assume 'modify language' to mean english, spanish, etc, rather than terms used in the software.

cheers!

Hi, new pligger here.

I'm trying to change just the meta title on my homepage only so that it reads [site name] rather than the present title which reads [site name] / Published News

I tried this fix (changing from "story" to "index") but it doesn't work.

I've played around with the language settings, for example, deleting the visual name, but obvisouly, this will delete the text from the published news tab.

I'm running the latest version of pligg 9.9.5.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
