Looking for a way to add a link to stories on an external site that allows users to click the link and be sent to the pligg site with as much info as possible already filled in to the "new story" form.

How would I go about setting this up?

I think you have to create a module adapted to each situation. I made a module for Joomla Sites which can then easily install a "pligg-it" button sending any article to your pligg site. I used a "digg-it" module and hacked it to be used with pligg. The same can be done with Wordpress and many other cms systems.

You can download and adapt my Joomla module to your needs, make your own module and propose it to the huge and active Joomla! community.

Since I run the site I would want the stories coming from, it should be pretty easy. I just needed to see the format for the link and I found that in your mod.
