    Password Reset

I looked around trying to find a solution to this, but no one seems to have this problem.

When I enter a username in password reset in login.php, the password gets sent normally. I receive the email with this link:

    Code:
    http://sitename.com/login.php?processlogin=4&username=Unknown&confirmationcode=f3a82f0061486b37de9a5b1eea7aa55defc6b01983496c439
I click on it and go back to the login page, that tells me the password has been reset to "password". Now I try loging in...
    Username:Unknown
    Passwordassword

But then it tells me password/username wrong! I guess the password isn't reseting!

The hash code in the database is:
    033700e5a7759d0663e33b18d6ca0dc2b572c20031b575750

I also tried resetting it from the admin panel, under the Users Config options. Yet the same problem arouse. The password is not getting changed!

I use pligg 9.7. Any solutions for this? Please I really need this! If you need any file to see my configs just tell me and I'll PM it to you ASAP, or put it on the forum.

So here's a bump, but with more weird stuff going on. As I said, password reset is not working at all, and I'm not the only one with the problem. So I actually removed it from login.php two weeks ago and worked on other things.

Now I came back to it. I tried doing the same process again and got the same problem(see post 1). So as usual I light bulb got lit over my head, I created a user with the password "qwerty" (without quotes), and went to the database and copied his password hash over to the user who I want to reset the password for. So this is supposed to mean that this user should now have the password "qwerty"... Right?...Well, no!! I tried logging in using the password, it says the same thing: the password is wrong. I couldn't believe my eyes!

Can someone who also has the problem of resetting the passwords do the same thing as I did, because I want to see if it's a problem I exclusively have in my installation/database (lucky me).

And here are some info... I use pligg 9.7 rev 1200 and with a highly modified theme based on an old template probably meant for early 9.x series.(But I think this has nothing to do, since I checked and rechecked login_center.tpl with newer original versions, it' all the same.)
