Has anyone seen this and have a solution?... ; )

I recently upgraded to v9.6, when submitting login information a "Registration Unsuccessful" comes up....go figure, i try to login and the link above shows " http://mydomain.com/login.php?return=/" so I input login information, then after submission, the link above shows "http://mydomain.com/register.php" and the following erros show:
Quote:
Registration Unsuccessful
Registration Unsuccessful Username must be at least 3 characters long

Registration Unsuccessful
Registration Unsuccessful Your requested username uses invalid characters

Registration Unsuccessful
Registration Unsuccessful The email address provided is not correct

Registration Unsuccessful
Registration Unsuccessful Your password must be at least 5 characters long
Go figure, i use the correct login and password of an existing username...
Has anyone seen this "Registration Error on login" bug on v9.6? help please.

Hi All

To further simplify this:

1. I click on login button located on upper rt corner of yget template (v9.6)
2. the link goes to: "http://mydomain.com/login.php?return=/upcoming.php"
3. Login with valid username etc----> I get a "registration unsuccessful error"

This is a big issue for my live site and users since i took the jump to v9.6 from v7.3 this week.

urgent help would be appreciated.

thanks

noyP

I face the same problem in a brand-new installation of beta 9.8. Interestingly, the registration process go through if the form on the right hand side of register.php is used. Problem is only with the main form, it seems.

Could someone please help?

Count me in on this - Fresh install of Beta 9.8, registration fails no matter what you type in these fields. Would love to fix this, as my site is useless at the moment.
Thnx

Ok, I have the same problems on both 0.9.7 and 0.9.8.2 platforms.

As far as I have found out, the problem is somehow associated with javascript imports; this, in turn, might be caused by line ending mismatch: some of template files, of both ygetblue-v3 and Blue-Eye, have DOS endings...

Well, I am trying to fix the problem...

Here is the trace from the js debugger:
Error ``SyntaxError: syntax error'' [xs] in file ``http://www.imho-imho.net/js/jspath.php'', line 3, character 0.
Error ``SyntaxError: syntax error'' [xs] in file ``http://www.imho-imho.net/js/xmlhttp.php'', line 3, character 0.
