How to support foreign languages (Unicode / Complex Language Support) in Pligg.

Standard is UTF-8 as international encoding which supports all letter characters worldwide (expect east asian ones). I had to learn that this is not fully functional. It could be that you have to switch to an ISO-8859 encoding.

yes, I tried UTF-8 and Pligg screws up everything.

Take a look at ISO/IEC 8859 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia to find out what charset suits you.
