Pligg install on GoDaddy hosting

I have GoDaddy, and I am running into an issue.

I am using PHP5 and mySQL 5

Here is the error:
Warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND `link_author` = 1 ORDER BY `link_date` DESC LIMIT 1' at line 1 in /home/content/m/y/s/mysite/html/libs/db.php on line 233

I only get it sometimes. Like when i use a source like tvguide.com, i get the error before submission of story. When i use nypost.com, it works fine.

Any thoughts?

What are we checking for, to make sure it's 777 I also get this error sometimes, randomly!

permission for my libs folder was 755. i changed it to 777. but it still giving me the same error.

I am using GarrX tamplate, and 9.8.1 version of pligg
