I'm having some issues with modifying category links. Whenever you're viewing posts, undernearth where it says, "Posted by" it has "Category: X". I want to remove this. I've searched all the templates and PHP files I think I could of that might pertain to this. I've also searched the forums as much as possible. I cannot seem to figure this out. Along with this I would also like to remove where it says, "(Editorial)".

My second issue is that I cannot get the "Modify Language" page to load. I've modified the CHMOD permissions as you are supposed to but whenever I click on the link to the page, it just loads a blank white page. However I have been able to change what I need through the lang.conf file. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

My last question deals with emptying out the database. Short of re-installing Pligg, is there anyway that I can empty out the database of all information and users (except the god user)? I have a custom style on there so I'd like to keep that, hence why I don't want to re-install Pligg.

Thanks.

1] look and edit link_summary.tpl - these info are displayed from there.
2] not sure why it happens this way - try chmod to 777 and open from admin panel modify language
3] I would do this: drop the database tables, create fresh and call /install/install.php - if you want to get rid of only links and users - there is more possibilities that you will have to empty the tables again.

Thanks, I was able to find the "Category:" but not the "(Editorial)" part. Any suggestions?

As I said in my original post, I have edited the lang.conf file, and I changed the CHMOD to 777 and it will not open. Any suggestions?

If I re-install this isn't it going to override the templates, which is what I want to avoid?

1] comment in link_summary.tpl this line ({$No_URL_Name})
3] templates are not database dependant

Thanks, I would never guessed that!

Ah, I believe I see what you are saying. Since when you edit the templates through the web interface they are still being saved to the flat file, re-installing Pligg itself (as long as I don't over-write the current template files) will not harm the style. If this is correct, then I understand and appreciate your help!

Did you happen to have any other suggestions regarding my issue with not being able to view the "Modify language" page?

Thank you for your help!
