At least the code can´t be sold under the licence. I guess it´s a fake.

There are some more details here : Pligg is For Sale (Update: Confirmed)

By the way, hello to everybody ! I've just joined the Pligg community, I'm still thinking about my website with Pligg.

I wish you a good sale of Plugg.com and hope it will benefit the best to the community.

Pligg 2.0 seems also near the release, this is good news ! Let's hope the sale won't take too much time in order to have 2.0 soon. I'll be happy to contribute to the french translation.

Thanks for Pligg

We will release an official statement in the forum soon. Don't worry, we won't leave you Pliggers out of the loop.

bidders would have RIGHTS to the code (you left out that word in your copy & paste) just like the rights we have to it now. More questions will be answered when we make our official statement.

IMO, the pligg team is selling too soon...(based on the fact that they're having to openly put it on the market, rather than fielding unsolicited offers).

From a business perspective, there were other avenues to take that would have alleviated the burden of running the business, and might have resulted in a higher selling price, down the line.

If it were me, I'd talk to some business consultants and re-think this.

ETA
If an admin can take a moment after releasing the 'official statement' to answer this thread, I'd appreciate it:

Sorry, I am not an expert in jurisdictional english :
Rights in a sense of access?

Edit: IMHO it would have been better to start the whole process with a statement here. In any case: Good luck!
