Have you done any modifications to your categories script? I just reported that one of the category mods doesn't work with the newest SVN revision. Also, there have been some big changes to the yget template, so make sure your template is compatible.
No modification, i try to use yget(new) and categories aren't. i can't also add category from the admin panel, then when i replaced with the old files, all works fine.
I just noticed that the demo categories aren't working either. Assuming the demo uses the latest SVN, it appears that there's a bug. That would explain why my category mod isn't working either (I switched back to the old code and assumed the problem is with the mod).
I haven't any mod, if also in the demo there aren't categories in sidebar, i think the problem is the rev.
