Has anyone else had a problem with "No Results" being returned no matter what you search for? I am positive my entries contain the keyword I am searching for, but I get an empty result set every time.

However, if I enter nothing in the search box and hit "Enter", it returns all the entries (which is only two test entries at this point).

You can view an example here:

I have not modified the search code, it is still the same code that came with the original .tpl file. The only thing I've done is mess around with the layout and look of the site.

*Edit - I changed the URL for my pligg installation from http://farm.gamelemons.com to http://www.gamelemons.com/pligg/

What's weird about this is that when I look at other peoples pligg sites, and view the HTML source, it looks like most people are using the default form for the search box like I am, and yet their's works - mine doesn't.

Did anyone who has the search working do anything special, or is your search code the same as what came with your original pligg download?

Same here. I tried searching for as many keywords in my content as possible and I got nothing.

I've redone some of the search code. I'll be releasing it shortly.

Hmmm, I upgraded to Beta 7.2 today, and my searches still return nothing - even when I search for an obvious term that is included in either the title or body of a post.

I'm still using v7.0 (or 7.1, I'm not sure) and search sorta works, which is better than nothing. The MB gang has added the following to our feature request list:

Search: Should search all content on the site, not just published, or queued depending on where you are on the site.

Hi,

I went to your site. I searched for Microsoft because the one of the stories on the front page was about Microsoft and guess what...it worked.
