Recently installed Pligg Beta 9.7, and the only problem I have is the fact that nothing shows up in the "Related Links" field of submitted stories. I've check all over the internet, these forums and the FAQ for Pligg, but can't seem to find anything.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

Could we get a url? And just to let you know, related links is based on stories sharing the same tags, so make sure you have stories doing that.

I tag just about every story that is posted, but the Related Links field always shows up blank. Is there a mod I need to install?

I worked hard and still work hard on my site EarthFrisk but until I read this thread I completely overlooked the related links tab. Damn . Literally I don't even know how it works, will tinker with the programming now to see if I should just take it out.

Anyone have interesting ideas on useage?

Mike

So did anyone ever figure out how to get this thing to work? I tested it using my most common tag and still nothing shows up.

Hi, try this
open /libs/html1.php and change line 54 to
Code:
$related_tags="'".str_replace(",","', '",addslashes($related_tags))."'"; // This gives us the proper string structure for IN SQL statement
works for me

I'm afraid that didn't do it. And, other than a extra space, it's exactly what I've already got on line 54.

Do all of the tags have to match for a related link to show up or only one tag? If it requires all tags to match it may explain why it's not working for me. I'll test that theory and post my results on here.

Pretty sure all tags have to match. We pulled the feature because of that limitation.
