same problem with categories , i can use the same solution?

I tried to make this localizationthis for russian letters. So my $replace_what and $replace_with vars in both files look like that:

$replace_what = array("а","б","в","г","д","е","ё","ж","з","и","й","к","л","м","н","о","п","р","с","т","у","ф","х","ц","ч","ш","щ","ь","ы","ъ","э","ю","я");

$replace_with = array("a","b","v","g","d","e","yo","zh","z","i","i","k","l","m","n","o","p","r","s","t","u","f","h","c","ch","sh","shc","ii","y","yy","eh","yu","ya");

Nothing is work. Even if I don't change search.php but only tags.php my website is not working. I can see just the empty page. Why?

I must replace russian letter with html entity in search.php too? But i guess it is not special characters.

I know this thread is kinda old, but i have some how different but related problem, that i can't find solution for.

I'm building an arabic site, so the import is successful and all, but the problem is the RSS_Importer can't import arabic tags, only english ones, so for articles with fully arabic title there are no tags at all, and i have no idea how to solve that.
