Can I give GOD a new nickname?

Is it safe to change the name for the admin user ID 1 in the DB from 'god' to something else?. I couldn't see a config option for that.

You don't need to do it from the mysql database manually. Instead go to the Admin panel > User Management > God >Edit user data > and change the login name.

It is not possible in Pligg 9.7. Only for other users except god

I am testing Pligg 9.8 with IIS and attempting the username change results in an error:

Invalid token (hack attempt) or timeout. Timeout is 5 minutes. Go back, refresh that page, and try again.

but assuming no-one else experiences that, it is probably just IIS playing up.
