hide main 'votes' display

hey

i'm still new to this. i've done some searches, but i couldn't find what i'm looking for.

on the main page (and all pages) it shows how many votes a story has. actually, i don't want to use that feature. i just want to show the story without having a 'vote' count.

how would i do this?

Open up your templates link_summary.tpl file and search for:

<li class="vote-publish"><a id="xvotes-{$link_shakebox_index}" href="{$story_url}">{$link_shakebox_votes}</a></li>

It should be somewhere near the top. Remove this line and see what happens. It will probably screw up the template since you're taking out an element, but you can play around with it from there.
